MBF Health and Wellbeing after Breast Cancer Study

Study Participation

Between June 2004 and December 2006, Victorian women diagnosed with breast cancer within the previous 12 month period were eligible to join this study. Recruitment to the study closed on 31 December 2006.

For those women who have agreed to take part in the study, their participation involves completing a yearly questionnaire about their health and wellbeing. This will occur over a 5 year follow-up period.

More than 2000 women registered an interest in taking part in the study resulting in a final cohort of 1684 women. We wish to pass on our gratitude to all the women who have agreed to take part. Their continued support will be invaluable to this study.
